🔒 Your files never leave your device. All image processing tools (compress, resize, crop, convert, upscale, background removal, QR code, image-to-PDF) run entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or access your images.
1. Information We Collect
VideoSave collects minimal information to operate the service:
- Usage data: Anonymous analytics such as page visits, feature usage, and error reports — collected without personally identifiable information
- Language preference: Stored locally in your browser (localStorage) — never sent to our servers
- Video download requests: When you download a video, the URL is sent to our server to fetch the video link. We do not log or store these URLs beyond the duration of the request
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email, or any account information (we have no login system)
- Your images or files — all image tools process files locally in your browser
- Payment information — all tools are free
- Location data beyond country-level (from IP address for analytics)
3. Image Tools — Client-Side Processing
All image tools on VideoSave operate entirely in your browser using JavaScript:
- Compress, Resize, Crop, Convert, Upscale: Processed using browser Canvas API and WebAssembly
- Background Removal: Uses AI models downloaded to your browser — no server involvement
- QR Code Generator: Generated locally in your browser
- Image to PDF: Converted locally using browser libraries
Your images are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to VideoSave servers.
4. Video Downloads
When you use our video download feature, the video URL you provide is sent to our server, which retrieves the downloadable link from the source platform. We act as a proxy to bypass CORS restrictions. We do not:
- Store the video content on our servers
- Log or retain your download history
- Associate download requests with individual users
5. Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser localStorage to remember your language preference. No tracking cookies are set. We do not use advertising networks or cross-site tracking technologies.
6. Third-Party Services
Our service interacts with third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Sora AI). These platforms have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their policies if you have concerns about data they collect.
We may use third-party analytics tools (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) that collect anonymized traffic data. These tools do not use cookies or track individuals across websites.
7. Data Security
Since we collect minimal data and image tools are client-side, your privacy risk is inherently low. Our server communicates over HTTPS. We do not store user data in databases.
8. Children's Privacy
VideoSave is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.
